Mums for Moms

What did you get your mom for Mother's Day?  Most people get flowers, jewelry, or sweets.  We'll this lucky mother got all three in one compact package.  She got Red Velvet cupcakes with pink pearls and big yellow mums.  What more could you ask for?

Owl Cupcakes

Whooo...Whooo's turning 3 years old?  It is my cute as a button neice Emma.  Big, bright eyed owls everywhere and even some to eat.  I took a few tries to figure out how to make cute bugged eyed owls.  However, they sure did turn out so super duper cute!  Check them out!

Chocolate Chips!

So, who doesn't like chocolate?  That's right no sane person hates chocolate.  And if you close you eyes and remember the first time you realized you had found your 1st love...I bet you are thinking of a chocolate chip cookie.  Well, this taking our beloved chocolate chips and upping the chocolate ante.  Imagine a moist chocolaty cake, topped with a velety cream cheese icing then sprinkled with crunchy chocolate chips!  Hey...you need a napkin you have drool on your chin.  Yeah you got it. Nevermind check out the pics and dream on.

Cupcakes for Chemists?

What do you do when Lenard, Sheldon, Raj and Howard ask you to make cupcakes?  Well, you create a tasty periodic table, of course!  Strawberry cupcakes with Tantalum!  Ummm!

Taylor's Sweet 16

I had the privilege of doing cupcakes for Miss Taylor's Sweet Sixteen Birthday!  Happy Birthday Taylor!  We made 9 dozen cupcakes and a 3 layer cake for her big day.  As you can see 9 dozen cupcakes took up three rooms in my house, kitchen, dining, and the cupcakes nestled right on in my living room as well.  (At least they were comfortable, watching TV in my living room, resting up for their big night.  LOL!)

Red Velvet, Chocolate, and Vanilla cupcakes were all on the guest list for this party.  The color scheme of the party was ivory, purple and black, a little bird, also told me Miss Taylor likes zebra.  So this was the perfect way to incorporate all her colors.  We had zebra liners on all the cupcakes and made some zebra daises for the cake to give the cake a little flare and pizazz.  We also dressed up all the little cupcakes and the cake for this special occasion.  All the little cupcakes got to were their pearls to the party.
