Butterfly Cupcakes

Happy birthday to my niece Emma!  Every princess needs a butterfly garden.  That was my sister's inspiration for Emma's 4th birthday.    The best part of her party was all the kids getting spun in circles by Aunt Monica.  Always a good workout when I hang out with my niece and newphew.

Gone Fishin' Cupcakes

Happy Birthday to my brother Cameron who just turned the BIG 14!!!  It was hard to compete with his awesome new BASS BOAT!  However, I humbly tried to make cupcakes that compare and go with the theme. Not to mention I did not know there was going to be a birthday party until about 2 days ahead of time.  Shame on me for not coming up with the idea!  LOL!  Let me take you along on Cameron's birthday fishing adventure:

We set our lines and prayed for the fish to bite, even in the relentless waves.

The fish are swimming all around us, teasing us.  They chant "I'm a clever fishy you can't catch me!"

Oh wait!  Cameron feels a tug on his line.  It is an HUGE rock fish.  There is nothing better than reeling in a  fish on your birthday in your brand new boat!

Cameron, hope you catch many more fish on your boat.  Love you, buddy! 

Mums for Moms

What did you get your mom for Mother's Day?  Most people get flowers, jewelry, or sweets.  We'll this lucky mother got all three in one compact package.  She got Red Velvet cupcakes with pink pearls and big yellow mums.  What more could you ask for?

Owl Cupcakes

Whooo...Whooo's turning 3 years old?  It is my cute as a button neice Emma.  Big, bright eyed owls everywhere and even some to eat.  I took a few tries to figure out how to make cute bugged eyed owls.  However, they sure did turn out so super duper cute!  Check them out!

Chocolate Chips!

So, who doesn't like chocolate?  That's right no sane person hates chocolate.  And if you close you eyes and remember the first time you realized you had found your 1st love...I bet you are thinking of a chocolate chip cookie.  Well, this taking our beloved chocolate chips and upping the chocolate ante.  Imagine a moist chocolaty cake, topped with a velety cream cheese icing then sprinkled with crunchy chocolate chips!  Hey...you need a napkin you have drool on your chin.  Yeah you got it.
